  I created a lesson plan for kindergarteners in a resource room. I used a shorten version of “The Little Red Riding Hood” and cut out pictures to act out the story. I would model how to find the beginning, middle, and end. I would use a graphic organizer to draw and write about the story.   Then students would get on the computer and log into Nearpod. We would go through a poll about what they know about beginning, middle, and end. Then there is a video on “Jabari Jumps.” The last part is boards for students to find the beginning, middle, and end.   The last part of the lesson is the assessment. I would read “Hansel and Gretel.” Then act out using picture cut outs. Students would choose what they would like to do for their assessment.   Data collection Data was collected from a learning styles inventory. There were five kindergarteners inventoried. Questions contained pictures for young students. The inventory was given one on one. I read each question to the students. The questions were worded yes or no pertaining to visualization, kinesthetics, or auditory learning. The data showed three out of the four students preferred kinesthetic learning. Only one of the students preferred visual learning.   Interconnection of Learning Styles and Development   Cognitive Learning Cognitive learning is the process of retaining information. Visuals, kinesthetic, auditory, and reading/writing are used as a cognition strategy to experience learning (Valamis, 2022). It uses senses to connect meaning into long term memory.  These are my top 5 technology-based programs for differentiated learning. Differentiation is an important part of instruction for the  "personalization for learning tasks"  (Colquitt, Pritchard, et al, 2019 ). Differentiation is important in order to reaching students and their learning needs.  Differentiation in best practice because it differs by content, process, and product  (Taylor, 2015) . Teachers differentiated by content which is what you teach. The process which is how you teach.
